This Game has orange character text, unfortunately the default themes on itch also use orange text. This game is best played on light mode which makes it easier to differentiate the player orange from the default orange, but the font/text size are also different, so it is possible to figure it out on dark mode if you're paying attention. Thanks!

Overall this game gave me a good sense of mystery. It's unsettling, but grounded enough to feel realistic, and I especially enjoy how the physical suspense is interwoven with the emotional tension, for example by having the forest become increasingly sinister as the characters' arguments escalate. And he details like Mickey's hair tie, Rivera's tide, and Lottie's blood make the characters feel like PART of the environment beyond simply existing in it. I was sad when it ended, so you've definitely built up the intrigue successfully!

I got to a point where Mickey disappears. I agree with some others that it's initially unclear if the player is "playing" as all three (Lottie, Rivera, & Mickey) at once, or if they're a fourth character who's mostly observing. The ambiguity didn't bother me, but if that distinction is important to you, you might mention early on that there are only 3 people. Sometimes I did find it confusing to recognize who was speaking, since the initials are small and easy to miss. I think it would be clearer if their full names were written out each time, or if you eliminated them altogether and only used tag lines (like a traditional novel)

I really like how the three character are normally all friends, but right now they're all very emotionally charged so we get to see them all at their worst. I went down all three routes to see what would happen and I find the dynamic between them all really engaging, and I hope you get to finish it.

I thought the overall concept was very interesting! The three characters play off of each other in some really compelling ways. I especially like the conflict of Rivera's aggressiveness and Mickey's forced positivity. The colors indicating specific characters was very helpful as well. I got an ending where we were waiting for Mickey's dad, and Lottie and Rivera were arguing, and suddenly we didn't get to hear his answer. I did find this a bit confusing - I'm not sure if the "he" being referenced is Mickey or Rivera, and the ending overall seemed abrupt. I would love to see the story get expanded a bit more!

I enjoyed the way you approached dialogue and indicated particular characters' choices with colors. The point of view of the writing was a bit confusing though. There was a collective "we" often used, but it's not clear who I am. Am I a fourth member who is sometimes, strangely, not ever referred to by my friends? Seems like it got a little away from you towards the end of my playthrough, with the ending related to calling Mickey's dad not really going anywhere? Did you deviate from your outlining at some point?

i got the ending where lottie disappeared! it felt a little sudden or unexplained honestly, but all the conversation leading up to it felt very natural!i like how information about the characters background and circumstance is gradually released throughout the story.

really cool! all of the characters feel real, and the dialogue feels natural. i like how the player learns more about what happened at practice bit by bit through the dialogue. i got the ending where rivera and lottie are arguing and suddenly we don't get to hear his answer, which made me think it was unfinished but i do like it as just a creepy, unresolved ending. we don't need to have all the answers to what happens. i think using the characters' initials to show which character is talking is a little awkward, but that's probably just personal taste. it reminds me of chatrooms and forums and feels kind of retro, which is fun if that's what you're going for. i really liked the different color text for each character choice, its a really fun touch. v fun game!!

It seems we're a group of teenagers in a band, and not a  particular person (nor are we Mickey). Interesting choice! I wondered if we were a fourth person  because of the use of "We" (first person perspective), but I eventually figured out that there is no fourth person, because they are never addressed by a name and the group was established as a trio. I'm not sure if I achieved an ending or met a dead end, but I reached a section where Mickey seems to have disappeared. I wonder what happened to him. I enjoy that your narrative is fragmented, so that everything can be gleaned over time through implications rather than direct dialogue. I really enjoy your use of color for distinguishing Lottie and and Rivera. I'm intrigued that we don't know what Mickey thinks or feels from the options, but we know his actions. I think this choice adds a lot of mystery to Mickey.  I was baffled that Mickey's dad never picked up his calls. For a "perfect man", he does not seem to be a remotely good father. Poor Mickey.

I really like the different colors for the different options! It really makes the whole piece more vibrant.
